Invite your travel partner or group by email and assign roles. They can add transactions in their own currency — viewers see everything, editors can contribute, only the owner manages the wallet.

Do I need Premium to use a trip wallet?
No — you can start a trip wallet on the free plan. Premium unlocks features that matter most on longer or shared trips: shared wallet creation, custom exchange rates, display currency override, and Premium Insights.
Can I use the same wallet for several trips?
Yes. Most people prefer one wallet per trip so the numbers stay legible, but nothing in the product forces that. You can keep a single “Travel” wallet if that’s how you think.
What if my travel companions aren’t Premium?
That’s fine. Invited members join free — they can record transactions, view balances, and contribute, without having to upgrade themselves.
Does BudgetLuma sync with airlines, hotels or travel cards?
No. BudgetLuma doesn’t connect to bank or travel accounts — by design. You record transactions yourself. It’s a calmer, more private experience, with your stored number reflecting what you decided it should be.
Does the app handle tips and cash differently?
No special handling — tips, cash, card, anything you can write down is just a transaction with a category. Categories are yours to shape (system categories on free, custom categories on Premium).
